We are acting out The very hungry caterpillar for our leavers concert in July. Does anyone have any good ideas for songs that we could incorporate throughout the story, including any pop songs.

down in the jungle with insects and down in the garden instead? little arabella miller is nice. and cecil was a caterpillar - ends up being sick due to eating one member of his family each time!! may not like but our parents would think it hilarious, as do children x

Five caterpillars sat upon a leaf

One caterpillar fell fast asleep

When she/he woke up she found she could fly

Now there are four caterpillars and one butterfly

 

Four caterpillars sat........

 

Ours wear hats with a picture of a caterpillar sitting on a leaf and a floaty scarf tied like a cape. When they become the butterfly they whip off the hat and open their wings and fly off.
