I have tried searching but have been unsuccessful in finding a Equal Ops Policy written in line with the new EYFS. Can anyone point me in the right direction. We do currently have one but I am not happy that it covers everything required.

That's good, thank you, jannac. A small tweak - your use of the word 'both' could be taken to mean you have only 2 children, if you replace it with the word 'all' or just remove it altogether the sentence reads as you intend it to. It's something one of my teachers taught me years ago that has stuck in my mind.

There isn't too much in the policies that u need to change its mainly child protection, safeguarding, health and safety. And a few policies will need tweaking here and there, but it didn't take me too long. If you on www.earlyyearsplanning.com you can buy a pack of policies and procedures for the new EYFS. When I went on a course, I heard that Ofsted do not like settings to use policies by the PLA as the setting hasn't come up with it themselves or amended them to make them suitable for their setting.

That's right jennac - I was advised to get rid of the colour bits in my policies as they shouted out that they weren't mine, even though they were adapted and adopted. I was told that I would be quizzed on the contents a lot if I kept them as they were.
