klc106
We are a pack away setting with very limited storage and very nosey hall users! What sort of things do I need to keep at my setting, in terms of planning etc. for ofsted? We have a small locked file box for children's and staff's records which is kept on the premises, as well as our register, policies and procedures and first aid book. What else should be kept there all the time? Hope this makes sense! Thanks

Fredbear
Things like your liability insurance certificate, Ofsted Registration certificate, we also have a copy of our most recent Ofsted report as well as our Company Registration certificate. We have all these on a cork board and it is brought out and displayed each day. All other documents such as children's personal details files, visitors book, accident log, medication file, fire drill log, incident log are all kept in plastic wallets and are stored in a box and also brought out and displayed daily. Staff's files are also accessible each day. Hope this helps.
