Guest
This may have been asked before but... does anyone use a management software to run the registers, to produce invoices etc? I have been sent the 'EY Essential' and after having a brief look through it 1. it looks scary lol and 2. would I really use it? I would love some feedback if others use any software and if they couldnt live without it etc. Thank you x
Melba
We have EY Essentials and after a year, feel that something much simpler would be better. We only use the invoice bit and even that is far too complicated and inflexible. I would love someone to come up with something much simpler, hint to all you clever computer people put there! Guest
I too tried EY Esssentials and gave up after a term, now use Parenta for everything - invoices, registers, holidays, staff hours, NEF funding etc. They are quite expensive to set up but it is designed for my setting and is able to change as I do, I pay a monthly fee but for that I get support 24/7 so I can help whenever ICT bogs me down. Guest
I am looking to open a nursery in October so am looking for a software package. I have the Parenta lady coming tomorrow, but agree it looks expensive, but not sure what alternatives would be better (there seem to be so many!). Any recommendations please. Guest
Hi, We use a system called kindersoft. This stores all childs details, registers, and generates invoices. Registers are broken down into room/age groups over a daily and/or weekly period allowing you to do the rota effectively xx
Mouseketeer
We were given 'super fox'.....but it wasn't !
laura
I've had a parenta lady come and see me today, and to be honest it looks great. The initial start up cost seems a lot but when I factor in the hours it will save me, it is worth it as I would have to get someone in to cover my room while i do admin. Lucy P
I use Nursery Net, i does invoicing, EYE grant calculations, forecasting, registers, all HR such quals, sickness, holidays and lots more! I cannot remember initial set up cost but it wasnt extortionate, and we pay approx £35 a month. It works really well for me and the support is great. Guest sn0wdr0p
We use preschooler software - it's cheap and does the registers, invoicing, collection lists for the the children we collect from the schools, future fee forcaster, individual rooms etc.
lynned55
Snowdrop, what is this software called please?
redjayne
First Steps here - set up was a bit expensive and we pay £54 a month but thats on an external server so if our PC blows up ( which a previous one did and we lost everything!) or gets stolen we don't lose any data and can just plug in and go with a new one ! It's easy to use and the support is fantastic . :1b
