Panders
ADHD radio programme Hope the above link works, seems to have changed since I last did a link! Rory Bremner has made this programme after a family member has been diagnosed with the disorder and finds that he too has ADHD tendancies. HappyMaz
What an interesting programme. The stand out quote for me was:- "if they [schools, people who work with children with ADHD] don't look beneath the behaviour then they're not going to see the chronically corosive effect of ADHD on social interaction and on self-esteem" Really thought provoking stuff. Yes I agree Maz, as the programme progressed I was making little notes, and that stood out for me too.
Deb
Thanks for the link Panders, very interesting to listen to. I've passed this on to a colleague who's son may have ADHD as I think it may be of interest to her.
