MrsL Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 My team all contribute to Learning journals and do regular observations. I feel there are some gaps in their understanding of some of the statements. Are there any additional materials to support this, to explain and give examples etc?
Susan Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 I think that is probably a problem for most of us at times! Can your LEA not address this through training or cluster groups?
MrsL Posted July 19, 2011 Author Posted July 19, 2011 Yes I was looking for more clarification than 'look, listen and note'. I know there are materials for the profile but didn't know if there was for the ages and stages. I will see what the lea can offer.
eyfs1966 Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) Well I think some confusion is inevitable, as many of the statements are ambiguous at best...I was hoping that the new EYFS might ammend some of these, but it would appear not. Edited July 20, 2011 by eyfs1966
MrsL Posted July 20, 2011 Author Posted July 20, 2011 Yes its difficult isn't it. I think it is mainly some of the later creative/kuw ones that they struggle with. There are so many parts to some of them too.
