Panders Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 If you were asked what setting based resources you needed to fulfill your role to the best of your ability what you ask for?
Guest Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Me too. Without the right staff a building/ space/ other resources......... they mean nothing! (Well not nothing nut you knopw what I mean..... hopefully!)
Fredbear Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Totally agree," staff team " you can have all the resources in the world, but without the staff team to use them appropriately, imaginatively, it means nothing. Just intrigued why do you ask?.
Panders Posted June 6, 2011 Author Posted June 6, 2011 (edited) Actually it was more of a question to ask during appraisals, I wanted to find out if the staff felt they had sufficient resources to do their jobs, or what they might consider to be essential, outstanding resources to help them, anything from uniforms to wear to reference books or glue to stick their learning journeys together! Obviously for Managers etc. our teams are our most valuable resource!! Edited June 6, 2011 by Panders
Inge Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 So things that are always going missing or you always seem to be unable to find... we had a box where they all went and a rummage usually gave what we wanted.. pens.. tape, glue, paperclips, notepads, glue sticks, stapler staple gun and staples, pencil sharpeners, then there was a resource library box.. of all sorts donated over time usually from courses we had done and had to buy the books.. EYFS crib sheet.. quick overview of development statements easy to flick through to find what is wanted.. essential.. think I made our own and was always being asked for another copy as they wore out.. they became very tatty over the year..
