Rea
Yes you can have a friends list, its on the blue bar up there ^. To be honest I'd forgotten about it.
Guest
Never noticed this function - not surprisingly it's empty then!! Are there any 'perks' or benefits for having 'friends' and can I just say (probably again, but it's been a while!) what a fabulously supportive bunch of people reside on this forum...every now and then I check on another early years site and it can get quite 'controversial...fractious...abrupt...' anyway, one of those types of words and not at all like on here
Steve
The 'friends' feature isn't that much used at the moment (the only advantages are that you can find certain members quickly and send them PMs without having to search the member list). We tried out an enhanced 'profile' page a while back which has more features and allows more of a social networking feel, but it wasn't that popular as people felt a bit shy about the amount of information it displayed (for example, which members had been to visit your profile recently) so I switched it back off. Hope that clears things up. (mps09, I've PMd you about your friend)
