Guest Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I hope that the topic title has rung a few bells. While a site visitor a read a thread about Big Writing (alas, forgot to bookmark it). Some-one posted a very jolly VCOP song that they sang with their class, to the tune of YMCA, before Big Writing. Id love to give this a try but can't find the thread. Can any-one help please? Emma
Marion Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 "Children hold your pen up high I said children hold it up to the sky, show your ready for our big write, but there's things we must remember (clap 5 times) we must remember VCOP (body into letters as in YMCA) we must remember VCOP, we will do our big write, we'll get every thing right and we'll try our very best, we must remember VCOP!" we use this version

Guest Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Thank you. Sorry for the delay in replying - I've been away. Will get practising for the new term! What with that and the write dance that I have been trying to train myself in over the summer, my children (my own, rather than the school ones) will know that I have finally flipped. Emma
Panders Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 What everyone needs is a video of Alistair (ABCDoes) and his VCOP performance ... Well you never know - he may be persuaded to give a private performance for us all on here!
