we dont, but they eat them as soon as they come in usually. but my daughters school doesnt, or my newphews school -we just get notes to remind us to put in cool packs etc.

i can imagine they would take alot of fridge space

In the summer we encourage parents to freeze the children's tubey yoghurts or their cartons of drink to use as ice packs. They are nicely thawed usually by lunchtime. You can also get long tube-shaped ice moulds for parents to make an ice stick to pop in a bottle of water or juice. We certainly don't have the fridge space.

That's a good idea Cait! Ours eat their lunch at the beginning of the afternoon session but we wouldn't have fridge room either.
