Which Courses Need Updating?

Hi all, pick your brains please!

 

Besides First Aid and I presume Safeguarding which courses do you have to keep updating?

In our LA there is also the requirement to update food hygiene, Senco and Inco/Enco but this might be authority specific.

Inco is just another name for Enco, well in our area anyway. Our LA uses them both and then slaps us for using the one not currently in favour!

Don't panic sunnyday - as Holly says each LA probably sets its own criteria. In our LA we also have to do equal ops, h&s, safeguarding, food hygiene every three years. Although this is for all staff, in practice the h&s and food hygiene is generally done by the lead and cascaded to the rest of the staff.

Our authority have just given us all free H&S online training...staff had to do it when they could.....it was quite good - maybe yours may do it?

Thinking about it our LA doesn't offer anything online..........hmmm..........was it with 'educare'?
