Creating Games Snap And Concentration

I am wanting to create my own SIMPLE version of SNAP and CONCENTRATION (max 8 pictures) using Powerpoint, for Reception Class. I have seen games created using a specialist software program. This option is way too expensive to purchase as the intake for our school is quite small each year. I am quite at ease using Powerpoint and have tried many times to get the correct effect (cards turning and flipping) but the STUPID thing has beaten me each time. :o I don't like things to beat me. I have Googled till I'm blue in the face. I am now getting a bit confused as some sites are talking about Flash. Does anyone know if this FLASH thingy got anything to do with it, or special codes thingys. If they have I am beaten. The coding stuff is way beyond me. All I would like is a simple template or the kind. Something quick and simple.

Oh yes I know there are lots of sites that have online versions of these games for Foundation Stage children. I wish to create ones linked to the various topics the children are learning about. People who help us, Vegetables, Christmas, etc.

Sorry to have been so long winded.

Thank you even to anyone who reads this.

Hi rolopolo, sounds like an interesting thing to be able to do. Can't help I'm afraid - perhaps you are ahead of the game here and as yet the ability to design one's own games is not available. Things were so much simpler without computers!!

Hope somebody on here can give you the technical assistance you require. Good luck

Yes, you're likely to need flash player for moving things like that. There are several sites where you can download one, if that's what you think you need. Was that what it was?

you can get flash slideshow player from our primary school site school
