New Parents And The Eyfs

When new parents start at our setting I would like to give them something about the EYfs that relates to us them and their child. BUT not sure what.

Is that a wacky idea?

I have seen the EYFS for parents leaflets but they do not appeal.

I just thought I would ask if you what you all do that gives and receives information to and from parents.

Have you searched on here - it's been discussed before and someone had created a leaflet for download

Here's one discussion with a powerpoint and a DCSF leaflet for parents about the EYFS plus a DVD to order - might give you some ideas!

 

Also this one which offers another/same powerpoint, but a different leaflet for parents.
