Guest
I came across this today in my little ones nursery and want it for my class-it was bright red, very fine sand. Do any of you use this and where do you buy it? Many thanks

Guest
i use it quite a lot, the kids love it and it appeals to different children than what 'normal' sand would! I bought it from yorkshire purchasing think they were about £10 a bag? i usually use it in my tuff spot as it fills that nicely and gives it a different sort of feel. The cleaner wasn't so keen though!!!!
Guest
i bought safari sand from 'steb by steb' during the holidays, it comes in 10 colours and is great. it is quite fine but the children love it and makes a nice change from play sand! SueJ
My local homebase were selling off their coloured sand v. cheap (£1/bag) so picked it up while it was going - might be worth looking to see if local store has any left or maybe online.
