I am now in Reception and want to hold a reading meeting for parents to help them with their child's reading. Guest Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 The National Literacy Trust has some 'useful tips' for parents, maybe you could use some of these in a powerpoint presentation, or print some of the tips out plus some 'don't do' type phrases and get the parents to sort them into helpful / unhelpful piles.
