lmwhite Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 Hi We have recently changed to become incorporated (still with charity status) . Our committee agreed and signed up to be directors. However one week in and the treasurer and secretary have resigned. They seem to be dropping like flies. The reason they are giving is that they feel very pressured now it is like a 'company and they have director titles. We were advised by preschool learning alliance to make this change as it would protect the committee and give them liability of just £1.00 should anything go belly up! Another reason is that we can not apply for a much need grant unless we were incorporated.
