Guest Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 It doesnt seem 5 minutes that we were celebrating 10000 posts. Now you're up to 14000. That's an awful lot of talking folks. It's also an awful lot of reading for people like me who dont get in too often.. Quote
Sue R Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 You'll have to get a laptop to take home with you!! I agree, we have made a lot of posts!! I've just noticed I've passed 700, which is a bit scary! Still, it just reflects what a great site this is, and how much it must have been needed! Well done Steve and Helen for recognising it. It's been great having you around, when do you go home? Not that we want to get rid of you, of course! Sue Quote
Guest Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 5 weeks and counting!!! Unfortunately Sue, its the lack of working phone lines, and electricity, that cause the most problems, especially as we will be into rainy season by the time we get back. . Hali,me too. . I just have to save all my talking for these visits home! Quote
hali Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 well i hope you come back and see us soon.. Quote
Guest Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Hmm Ive had 2 visits this year already, dont think my boss wil like it if I have any more .... Quote
Sue R Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Call it research!! Sorry, didn't think about environmental effects! Just shows how little I really know!!! Sue Quote
Rea Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I think I'd get withdrawal symptoms if I lost my computer now. Where else could I go for a moan, chat, laugh, ideas, comfort and advice? We take far too many things for granted I think. Quote
Susan Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Never mind the talking- what about all the hours I've spent on here! At least my typings getting better, except when in the chat room!! Quote
hali Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 dont think i would like to count............................. Quote
Guest Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 so at what point do we identify the need for FSFers anonymous? Any takers? Quote
Steve Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 Do I need to amend the terms and conditions on registration to avoid liability? Quote
Sue R Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 I think that might need serious consideration, Steve Sue Quote
Sue R Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 You didn't notice that minor aberration, did you? Or is the failure of spelling an early sign??? Sue Quote
Guest Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 I would have thought the usual disclaimer would suffice. Quote
Beau Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 I went away for just one night and came back to 85 new posts since my last visit. Mind you, half of them were Sue's usual waffle so I guess I can discount them.................. (She's knows I would never be without her. ) Seriously though, I never thought a site could become quite so addictive. My typing has improved but I've put on half a stone because of inactivity. (The wine has nothing to do with that, honest guv. ) Quote
Guest Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 Steve I think that disclaimer is getting longer by the minute...... Quote
