Yohooo I have the internet working from scotland, so let me know when we are having a chat so I can join in for about 30 mins or so!

Did I imagine that the time of Beth's post was originally 22:02? Or am I seeing things? :o

Either way at 9.30 I was too late!

Not tonight though Beth - got there just in time! Nichola and I are still there, if anyone wants to join us!

I am now in there with Nicola and no doubt Maz may join us later! :(

Sorry - I was at the pub with a friend discussing EYPS written tasks. I'm available now though, if anyone's interested? :o

PS Ate bangers and mash in celebration of Guy Fawkes' Night. Yum! xD

Hi everyone !

I know this is going to sound a bit dense, but how does the live chat work ? I'm not too good on the computer front so you may have to explain it in simple terms ! lol !

If I click on live chat a big box comes up and thats it ! What am I suppose to do or see ? I've never been on it before and have no idea if I have the right software or how to download it but I'm intrigued. It does say I'm in live chat but I see nothing in my box !

Hi Motherclanger

I know just what you mean: often people appear in chat and then disappear again just as quickly. If I'm quick enough I do a little explanation - but I don't always manage it!

If you look below the main chat box, there's a horizontal thin line across the bottom (it extends out underneath where all the names of the people who are in chat are listed).

If you look very carefully you'll see there's a blinking text cursor: just type away and your message will appear as if my magic.

I am out of my EYPS written task purdour, so I may well be in later tonight bemoaning my fate! Do pop in if you see me: I've set myself a personal challenge to speak to as many different people in chat as I possibly can. Perhaps I should get myself sponsored for Children in Need? :o

Anyway: hope to chat to you soon!

Hi !

I think I must be missing some vital software as all I see when I go on to live chat is a big box and some info about downloading software to be able to use the live chat.

I've tried downloading the sofware but it will not download properly. I think I will have to get my daughter to come and sort me out !

I'm afraid I'm not good with problems, haven't got a clue what i'm doing ! Hopefully will be able to chat soon !

Right here's the thing, I've done every possible thing I can think to get my chat working!

Installed Java, uninstalled it and reinstalled it again. Checked all the settings etc etc etccc. :o

Now I'm wondering if anyone else who isn't using a Windows pc can get on chat?

xD
