Many thanks for your good wishes everyone.

 

My children made me stay in bed all day and my every wish was their command.

 

I heard the hoover busy downstairs........and I wasn't on the other end of it! My house smelt of furniture polish, the bathroom of bleach and the washing machine - well that didn't stop either.

 

I had a manicure and a pedicure, was fed chocolates and later on some nice red wine. I soaked in a beautiful smelling bath with aromatheraphy candles and a good book.

 

Then me and the girls laid on my bed and watched a dvd or three - accompanied by some more chocolate. Best birthday treat in many years. OH away so may go out next weekend instead.
