Marion Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 hi and welcome to the forum http://www.preschooleducation.com/swinter.shtml http://www.foundation-stage.info/forums/in...ost&p=77689
Guest DeborahF Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I've got a daily "weather song" if that's any good - sung to the tune of Hickory Dickory Dock: What is the weather today? What is the weather today? It's .........today, it's .........today (i.e. sunny, rainy, windy, frosty, etc.) That is the weather today. Be warned, it's a catchy little number and you might find yourself singing it out loud at weekends in adult company- I know from personal experience!!
Sue R Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 And haven't we all had that moment - or two ( )!!! Glad it's not just me..... Sue
Guest Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Yes and what about using that 'nursery voice' on your husband when he is misbehaving!
Steve Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Welcome to the Forum cazandshaz - There's a 'weather' resource article with focus plans etc, which you can find here.
Guest Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Our weather song is same as Deborah F's except we sing what is the weather today? what will the weather girl/boy say?... and the children take turns to be the weather person (choose weather picture & put on board). preschool education (as mentioned by Marion) also has great range of songs for transitions of every type.
