Safe Paper Mache

want to do some paper mache balloons with children tomorrow. is a safe way of making the paste just flour and water? does anyone know quantities?

Not sure about that, I have made own by mixing pva glue and water works quiet well.

I know flour and water will set hard but not sure if it woulnt go moudly?

Thought you could use any cold water paste, as long as it does not contain fungicide as wall paper paste does :o

where would i find cold water paste? I wanted it a bit thicker than watered down PVA, let the kids really get their hands into it. I guess the flour might go mouldy-wonder how long before it does though?

I get non-fungicidal paste from Hope, preschool suppliers.
