tawny222 Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 Can I ask are you asking parents to sign anything when you reopen to confirm they understand and agree to the new guidelines such as I agree to inform the setting if my child has a temperature etc. Any advice would be appreciated Quote
Mouseketeer Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Hi, I sent out a ‘parent/carer agreement’ electronically, with agree/disagree to a list of things that they would be responsible for to make this work, things like not bringing their child if the child or family members had symptoms of covid-19 (or anyone in the household on ‘extremely clinically’ list), clean clothes each day attending, antibacterial cleaned lunch box (have set up resources to use if they did forget), only one person to bring, follow social distance plan for drop off/collection type questions along with understanding their child won’t be able to physical distance and that they’ll be in a bubble they’ll remain in, that they’ll be contacted to collect immediately if their child becomes ill, in which circumstances staff will wear PPE... 1 Quote
Stargrower Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 I did very similar to Mouseketeer and sent an email with all the details of what we are doing and what we expect parents to do. I asked parents to reply with AGREED at the start of the email and then to give us contact phone numbers of parents and emergency contacts so we can check and update our records without giving paperwork out. I said that we wouldn't admit children if we hadn't had this back from parents. 2 Quote
