Foreveryoung
Has anyone got babies to three or higher together? We have a small room just 12 children aged 2-3 and are lowering this room age range to nine months. Inspector said we needed a sectioned area for babies, it says 'there should be a separate room' not must. We are thinking putting a section around our reading/cosy space to create an environment enclosed type space to allow for tummy time etc. Hows anyone else provided this space if dealing with a wide spread age range
finleysmaid
Must admit i thought you had to have a seperate area for those under 18 months so that they can get away from the more mobile ones. (of course it also resitricts some f the things you might put out for the older ones too i guess?
hopeytg
we built an extra room with partition walls for their sleep area and on the edge of that used Community Play Things room dividers to give them a 'safe' area should they want it but to be honest they are much happier in with the older children who respect their different needs and really look after them.
