playgroup1
Does anybody know what the minimum wage is likely to be from April 2020? My staff are on salaried contracts where their pay is worked out for the year and then paid weekly, from September. I don't want to have to recalculate it in April. They are all paid over the minimum wage at the moment but want to make sure they are over any new rate. Tried to research it but couldn't find a definite answer. Mouseketeer
I guess we won’t know for sure yet, but the predicted £9.00 NLW by 2020 doesn’t look likely, there seem to be a few sites predicting £8.
playgroup1
Thanks. Even though my staff are worth every penny, £9.00 an hour would be almost impossible to meet without cutting staff hours and compromising ratios, especially as there would be the problem of maintaining differentials between staff on higher qualifications and more experience.
