Full Time (37.5 hours per week: Monday - Friday) / Salary: £21,563 - £25,313 (equivalent to Band S6, Surrey Pay Scale) - dependent upon experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEND Early Years Teacher / Nursery Nurse, to join our newly opened SEND Nursery (ages 2 - 5yrs) at The Children’s Trust School.  Providing care for children with acquired brain injury, neurodisabilities and complex learning and health needs, you will work collaboratively with Class Teachers and within a Multidisciplinary Team, to incorporate Best Practise and lead the Nursery in delivering exceptional and innovative teaching strategies.

You will have previous experience of working with pupils with complex SEND, as well as leading and managing in a SEND nursery setting.  With demonstrable experience and an excellent understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework and children’s development, you will support Class Teachers and by extension, the School Leadership Team, in delivering transformational change, whilst embedding robust School policies and procedures.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail.  You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

If you would like to discuss the role in more detail, please contact  Elaine Lush, School Business & Admin Manager, on 01737 365 816 or email: elush@thechildrenstrust.org.uk

PLEASE NOTE: The Children's Trust Application Form MUST be completed and submitted, in order for your application to be considered.

Closing Date:  3rd April 2019

Interview Date(s):  From 29th April 2019

Strictly no agencies please.

Boasting a beautiful 24-acre site in Surrey, The Children’s Trust is located just outside of London, close to the M25 (accessible via Junction 8, A217 to Tadworth) and is easily accessible via National Rail, by way of: Clapham Junction, Sutton and Epsom.

The work we do is highly rewarding, and in addition to an attractive salary, we offer a valuable range of benefits, including: free on-site parking; subsidised cafeteria; on-site staff accommodation (subject to availability); the ability to retain your NHS and/or Teacher's pension (where applicable) or the opportunity to join an alternative scheme; and the opportunity to develop and implement your expertise in an environment that is as unusual in its beautiful historic nature, as it is unique in its state-of-the-art facilities.

The Children’s Trust is fully committed to protecting children and young people.  All posts at The Children's Trust are subject to an enhanced DBS check.  If you are applying to The Children's Trust, and are already registered with the DBS update service, this will speed up the recruitment process significantly.  We are an equal opportunities employer, and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates, regardless of their race, sex, disabilities, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation, or age.
