smudge65
Probably a 'how long is a piece of string' question, but has anyone submitted an EY2 application recently. It says there is a delay in processing due to maintenance, wondered how long 'a delay' might be.
C1403
We have just had new committee members who have sent their ey2s two weeks ago and I've not had anything saying they are suitable.... although they have been submitted. I sent a EY3 by post three weeks ago and Ofsted have emailed me saying it's been received and EY2s are needed within two weeks. Not sure this helps or not x
smudge65
Thank you. I sent mine off last week, just hoping it arrives before Ofsted does! x
FSFRebecca
Make sure you keep copies of the emails and notes of when things were sent - if you have sent things in a timely manner and there is a delay elsewhere then it isn't your fault. I would, because I am overly cautious, write a risk assessment of how children are 'protected' from the new committee members until they have clearance e.g no unsupervised access to children, no binding committee decisions until forms/approvals are back etc (I don't have experience of committee run provisions so these things might not be super relevant - I'm sure you have better examples you could use on a risk assessment).
