Adding relatives

Hi All,

A number of my parents are not receiving their emails for log on. Could you provide any light on why this is happening?

Thank you. I have done that. Unfortunately I ended up having to create false email addresses for all parents with Hotmail/webmail based email addresses. Got there in the end :rolleyes:

You're very welcome to use fake email addresses for relatives, but please make sure they aren't using common domain names like hotmail/gmail - otherwise you run the risk of someone actually having access to that inbox and they may then receive Tapestry notifications and potentially reset the password to access the account themselves.

If parents do have a real email address it's better for them to be set up with that, but you may need to manually set a password for them if the activation link/password reset emails don't come through. By adding noreply@tapestryjournal.com to their approved senders list though, they should stop our messages from being filtered out of their main inbox.

Thanks Lauren, I have set up the emails as you said and all seems to be working now. (fingers crossed)
