Scottish Development Statements

Hi, does anyone have a PDF copy of the Scottish Development statements they could send me, please? I'm not sure if they differ much from the English ones, but I'd really like to see them. My granddaughter is starting nursery next week and I'd like to look at their assessment criteria.

Here is the link to the Curriculum for Excellence for the early years- Scotland do have a pre-birth to three curriculum document too, so if your granddaughter is under 3, that's the one you need. :1b

Thanks Helen. I've looked there first, but I can't actually find the development statements on there anywhere. Maybe they don't have them, and that's why I can't find them!

Here is the document with the statements in- eg on page 62 you'll see

'Working on my own and with others, I use my curiosity and imagination to solve design problems.'

just had a quick look at them - think they are really well written and the ones i read i preferred to ours -seemed less complicated!!

I guess there's nothing to stop you using them, after all,they are non statutory!

If you google 'Shanarri' it brings up loads of really lovely Scottish Development things which they use. My granddaughters ELJ (sadly not Tapestry) uses them, so I looked them up!
