Guest
Hi am a manager at a committee run preschool, before and after school setting. The setting is situated on the school site, operates exceptionally well and is financially stable. However my concerns are what would happen should the school decide that they wanted to take over, who would have the power to make this decision and how would it affect the current staff and daily operation? Thanks in anticipation
BroadOaks
Your committee should have a governing document ie a Constitution - and thing's like this are documented in that. In my experience with Committee's, it would be the Annual General Meeting that committee positions are selected?
diesel10
Do you have a contract / lease for your hire of the building / premises. If it's well run I can't imagine that they would bother. I suppose they might put your rent up to force you out if they wanted to or not renew the contract.
