Guest
We have had an ex parent offer to come and volunteer at our setting and she has recently had a DBS check done as a Nanny, she joined the update service. Does anyone know if it's OK to use her existing check?
diesel10
I've not done it but I'm sure you can. I think you need the original certificate and date of birth. Google DBS update.
lsp
I have just completed checks on the update service for two staff members. You need DBS certificate number, date of birth and surname as stated on original certificate. Here is the link to the page. You can also print off the details of the check as evidence. https://secure.crbonline.gov.uk/crsc/check?execution=e4s1 Edited February 28, 2016 by lsp

She's also got her own paediatric first aid certificate which is brilliant :-)
