Did you make anything to display? we have translation lists up and a welcome poster made using the languages used in the setting. There are some words I use regularly so have learnt these like wait and soon and hello. Also really useful are words for items of clothing...especially hat....the polish are obsessed with hats! :rolleyes: :lol: :lol: Our ofsted recommendation was to add more eal labels in to the setting....tricky when the children don't read! :blink:

However the best resource is adults who talk with the children and model language in context.
