Looking at the maths statements there isn't really anything that talks about being able to write numbers. In PD there is letter formation but not number formation. One child wrote 0-20 in the correct order so that would be part of the ELG but another child wrote numbers in a random order but was able to tell me the numbers. Wildflowers Posted October 16, 2015 Share Posted October 16, 2015 We have it under 'Maths - Numbers': Names and orders numerals 1 to 20, making sure that they can name them individually not only put them in order. Writing numbers is under 'Maths - Numbers' (as writing letter is under 'Literacy - Writing'): Forms 0 to 9 correctly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
