Hi I am doing my EYITT training. I have my first assessment next week and need to draw up plans for an activity to be observed. I am thinking about messy play especially as we have mostly active boys. I am interested in something exciting and different but am coming stuck in part because of acquiring resources for exciting play ideas from American sites and in part because my husband was rushed into hospital and is very ill. I am struggling to focus! ( There I have said it out in the open now!)

Any ideas gratefully received from you wonderful creative people. x

What are the children going to be learning in this session? If you identify that, the best activity to give it a context usually follows!!

Maybe try not to over complicate things. We all know how the best made plans can fall apart - especially when mixed with active boys!! Maybe use something you know works well. Be kind to yourself as you obviously have a lot to think about at the moment. Good luck x
