Guest Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 can anyone help me please? i want to buy some cheap wooden trays with sides for sand, rice etc. we currently use shallow plastic trays but the rice etc ends up everywhere, especially with the january intake children!! or have you got something better i can use? thanks :1b <_<
Panders Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 we use cat litter trays - various depths available - not sure if we get any less mess on the floor etc. though! 1
Stargrower Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Yes, we do this too - cheap and cheerful from supermarkets or pound shops. We also use trays from garden centres as you can get some different sizes and depths.
lashes2508 Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 We use the tough spot , we recently purchase some mats that help stop the rice becoming a slip hazard on the wooden floor

Guest Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Have you thought about making your own? Just buy some lengths of planed timber, cut it to size and screw together! Alternatively you find ask on your local freecycle site if anyone has a chest of drawers and use the drawers for your trays.
Guest Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 i have bought 4 litter trays from wilkos for £7 and will see how it goes ...... thanks every one x
