which profile to choose?!

Does anyone have any advise as to which one to pick - we are looking at 2buildaprofile, tapestry, target tracker (although we've heard negatives about this one). Ideally we would like profile and the ability to manipulate data.

I use Tapestry and it is fabulous. My technophob staff settled into it quickly, the parents love it and I cannot give any negatives about it.

Don't know about the others you mention but I wouldn't even bother looking.

I agree with the above, although have no experience of the others. Tapestry all the way!

No brainer, Tapestry, we also looked at 2buildaprofile and apart from not being able to justify the extra expense, it did nothing extra to Tapestry and the support on this site is 2nd to non. I would suggest you try the trial.

We have to use target tracker which I loathe!!! VERY time consuming.

 

We use Tapestry for observations and sharing learning with parents and it is brilliant. We do not use the data side of it though - I must admit I found that said a little confusing but I am sure there are many people using it who don't.
