Technical Laptop Problem - please help!

Please can someone with 'technical' knowledge help me?!

I seem to have 'lost' the zoom slider on the status bar when I open a word document on my laptop. Does anyone know how to reinstate this? Currently I have to use the zoom tab at the top and then click on zoom and manually change the percentage - it's driving me mad!

If you right click on the status bar at the bottom of the document it gives you the option to customise the bar. Right down at the bottom is the zoom slider

Have you altered your screen size? Have you right clicked on the screen to see if you have any options?

Maybe you have selected full screen by mistake. Can you see a view option at the top? Or try ctrl and esc.

I tried all of this - I have now rectified it by doing a 'system restore' and all is now well - thank you both.
