Guest Spiral
Hi there, we have a number of upright posts holding up a gazebo..however the base is rotten and we will be taking it up and putting down fake grass. Firstly, can we just put fake grass down on top of the mud/weed suppressant, or do we need a safer surface underneath (I am hoping not as cash is short). Secondly, do the wooden upright posts need a covering to make them safer? Thank you, Spiral :-)
Melba
Artificial grass needs a layer of sand underneath but I imagine that can go on anything that is flat.
SueJ
We had our artificial grass laid professionally - the area was prepped, levelled etc. and the grass "tacked" to a wooden batten around the edges to stop slippage. The link below pretty much outlines what our fitter did http://www.artificialgrass-direct.com/diy-installation/
diesel10
We had artificial grass laid recently and it went on a layer of sand. It looks great and the children seem to like it.
