sallye86 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Hello everyone I have recently had a discussion with the head of room for the babies. We discussed how the practitioners in the baby room would like to receive more information and have some clarity on how to identify the characteristics of effective learning (CEL) for their babies. We have babies from 13 months to 23 months. If anyone could shed some light as it is obviously really important that we are identifying the correct CEL! Thank you
Guest Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Helen Moylett and Nancy Stewart have produced a couple of brilliant books on the characteristics of effective learning and Teacher's Pet (a website) have a wonderful resource on CEL which basically breaks each characteristic down and gives you simple statements that give you a better understanding of what you would witness to achieve that statement.
