Other nationalities

Does anyone have a lovely idea for a way to celebrate all the nationalities we have in a wall display? I thought about a map with pictures of the children and staff around any countries they have a connection with but then most people would need to be only in England so it might look a bit silly.

Why are you doing this ? Do you have children from other countries or who have relatives , then you could ask them to send photos or pictures , or give each child a country and ask parent to help them find something bout that country , or dress children up in different costumes from around the world , take photo and display . There are DK books called children all around the world

We have a big display board that we call the Smile Board. The board is backed in patterned batik fabric. In the middle is a picture of the world that our holiday club children painted - just land and water. Then all the children - babies, toddlers, pre-school, after school / holiday club and all staff have a smiley photo. There is a caption saying "We all smile in the same language". We are in rural East Anglia and don't have many children from different cultural backgrounds, so we've added photos of other children too. It's a really popular display with children and parents.
