Ive just started at a new school and moved from a 2 form entry with 6 adults to just me, 30 children and 1 TA. I am enjoying the fact that I am in charge and planning the weeks but cant possibly produce as much planning as we did at my old school as I would be planning all week! I have just started this term with an MTP and was hoping that a maths plan and a weekly focus / activity plan was adequate. What are your thoughts? catma Posted January 9, 2014 Share Posted January 9, 2014 I'm assuming by you ratio this is reception - I think I would also expect a discrete phonics plan for the week as pace and progression of the teaching is crucial.
