SazzJ
Hi ladies, Just had the big O ringing to say that she is coming out for our registration visit on the 2nd Jan. We need to reregister from charity to a company hence the new registration. Can you lovely ladies tell me what to expect or what to brush up on please? SazzJ
I hope so too. Even more so annoyed that this should have been done by the old committee xx
Fredbear
Hi Sazz, so are you a company but with no charitable status now.
SazzJ
Yes we are a company with no charitable status as we were previously register as a charity but transferred it back in Feb
Fredbear
I would think you would need all your company house details, including named directors in place. All relevant paperwork including contract of employment changes, insurance details, local authority notification. When we changed from a committee run group, to an incorporated company with charitable status, Ofsted did come out anyway, as we were in the pot for the revised EYFS. Ours was just like a normal inspection. Good luck Fx
Guest
They will want to check building, risk assessment, staffing information, suitable person checks etc.
Guest
They want to ensure you are all up to date and everything is up together - I'd say the same as others - treat it like a normal inspection with the emphasis on paperwork / good luck
Guest
There is an ofsted publication to help with this process, go to their site and you will find it x
Keyup
Hi we recently changed from charity to Ltd company ended up having two inspections as we moved first and they had to check premises were fit for purpose, second was because we had then started operating as a new company. However we got same person as before and so we sped through the paperwork checks. We just sat at her latop and answered the questions she had a quick look round and that was it! Now we are waiting on a proper inspection which I am dreading and am going to ask my own questions on the forum for advise!xx
