ITCHEN SIXTH FORM COLLEGE NURSERY IS SEEKING;

 

CHILDCARE PRACTITIONER

  • Permanent, Full Time Contract
  • 37hrs per week, worked over 5 days (Monday-Friday)
  • Salary on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Pay Structure for Support Staff; Scale point 10 currently £12,877 per annum

 

We require an experienced childcare practitioner with a flexible approach to take responsibility to ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the Day Nursery. The successful candidate will be required to formulate and operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children attending the Nursery, in conjunction with the Manager. Other duties will include the undertaking of certain domestic jobs within the Nursery, preparing written records and undertaking reviews for parents, in conjunction with the Manager.

Level 3 qualification in childcare and education is essential and GCSE Grade C or above in English and Math’s is desirable.
