Guest Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I have a 2 year old who was able to thread buttons on to string, what prime area does this come under please? Kind regards Claire
klc106 Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I put it under physical development- show control in holding and using objects and equipment or something like that :1b
sunnyday Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Yep - for sure it's Physical Development: Moving and Handling Can get lots more from threading i.e. Develop the ability to use hands together (bi-lateral) in a lead assisted fashion............Develop in-hand manipulation skills.........and so on and so on...... Do you have a copy of Development Matters?
Guest Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Thank you! No I don't have a copy of that, where can I get it from? Many thanks Claire x
