Cait Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Using junior hacksaw to saw pieces of twig? Preschoolers love that! Making a house for the family? Clothes for the sweet lady love? Gifts for the children? Hiding twigs head first in sand and finding the one with the eyes on. Teachers pet have some activities, well, she said she was going to make some when I asked her a year ago when we looked at it last year.
Froglet Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 With my reception class last year we made stickmen (using sticks) then used these to tell their own version of the story - they made their own sets and props. I think we also made leaf/stick pictures and explored the colours and patterns of the autumn leaves used for the bed spread in the book.
