Books with photos

Hi

As part of our Early Years unit, we have a Pre-school class for two year olds who have government funding. We have many children with speech and language difficulties and I am looking for a set of books that use photographs as illustrations to help the children label objects, talk about pictures etc

Does anybody know of any books or supplier that might be useful?

the best photographic books are those produced by Dk books....come in lots of varieties have a look on amazon

Thanks for the suggestion, have just looked at these and filtered for the youngest children but the pages are busy. I really want something very simple with just one picture to a page. I'm really cross as i had a catalogue at school that had just the thing and i lost it.

Could you make your own with photos that mean something to the children? Local scene's, photos of the nursery? Cheaper :1b

Some first word books aimed at babies and toddlers have single photo and word pages, you can buy them in a lot of different shops too.

I was going suggest similar to Rea - photographs, laminate, comb bind.
