BevanLodge Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Does anyone have an emergency plan as part of their Safeguarding Policy? At safeguarding training this was recommended, to cover situations like drunk parent trying to collect child or harming child in front of staff or parent without responsibility trying to collect. I have had a search around but can't seem to find anything to base it on. Any ideas?
lynned55 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Well a parent without responsibility would surely not be listed as an authorised adult so as long as somewhere you state that only an A/A can collect then that is covered. We do have something in one of ours about being under the influence etc i think it's safeguarding but cant confirm as I dont have the computer it is on to check
