Guest
Hello I am hoping someone out there might be feeling musical. I am planning a dance lesson for my reception class and would like to put their movements together at the end of the session to some music. They will be showing the life cycle of a frog through dance/movement. Any ideas please? Thanks

lashes2508
try some classical music Vivaldi seasons or just have a listen through, it is good to get the children to listen and choose with the movements and see if they feel it is right for their actions, you will be surprised at how they nurture movemnets and express themselves to different music and also how it makes them feel. or for something a little more light hearted how about the frog song' by Paul Mc Cartney

Guest LornaW
There is a song on the Sing Up website called the Little Green Frog which you may like. Can't beat Paul Macartney for me though!
Guest
Have you heard Tadpole blues. Maybe You tube it then download using Zamzar.com It's fab and lots of actions. Kids loved it last year and really understood the cycle... planning to do it again.
