Maternity Leave And Handling Over To Cover

I don't know where to start. I am trying to come up with a list but I am sure there is loads I have missed. Can anyone think of anything I have missed?

 

Chair regular staff Meetings - planning meeting weekly/ staff meeting fortnightly

Planningn- happy with this as the staff member who is taken over is responsible for it

Observation & Assessment - more monitoring as each do there own

Coordinate Learning Journals - more monitoring/changing formats if needed etc

Form parental partnerships

SEF

CAF

SENCO

Order Resources

Cover Arrangements

Transition to school? - this depends on schools - not all forth coming in contacting us for information

Operational Plan

Prospectus

Registers - completing daily and updating with children's information

Newsletters

Attend regular training/ Arrange training for other staff

Day to Day Running

General Risk Assessment

Daily Risk Assessments - monitor as another staff member has the responsibility

Organise Key Workers

Staff supervisions - appraisals carried out by chair

Coordinate Petty Cash

 

I do my role without thinking and know there is probs more but got a mind blank

Hi are you responsible for Insurance, making Ofsted aware of any changes if needed, keeping track of any new equipment purchased in an inventory.

Who shows any prospective families around ?.

Good luck with baby. :o

 

Insurance is treasurer along with invoices etc

Ofsted is Chair

I am responsible for showing new parents around lol - will add it

I would add the following for me: liaising with Committee, NEG funding forms, working out 1/2 term/termly fees, administering waiting list, offering places. Any info/letters/communication/paperwork for parents. All paperwork relating to the children. Taking and typing up staff minutes.Will add anymore as and when I think of it

I can leave out some of these things as my committee do them and they are on a seperate list so she knows what they do etc but def reminded me of a few more
