hi, just wondering whether anyone has any experience of childminding on non domestic premises i.e a church hall?

Is it the same as childminding on domestic premises in terms of ratio etc?

Hi i think the definition of childminders is that it is on domestic premises. Otherwise it becomes a pre-school, day nursery etc which are generally on non-domestic premises. :o

Any reason for the query?

You can work with up to 2 other co-childminders on your domestic premises, providing you do not have more than 12 children at any one time. Once you go over 12 children it becomes daycare and the registration is different. But this also depends on the space and facilities in your home.

Also childminding is meant to be home from home and therefore a hall is not really suitable.
