Fredbear
Can anyone advise me please. It has been a long time since we have recruited anybody, and although we do CRBS for new committee members annually, we have just taken on another kitchen assistant, filled in a EY2 sent it off, and have waited. I rang Ofsted who advised that they don't do them for staff, although she had actually been placed on the committee list puzzled me too. So my question is how do i get this person cleared if not through this route. Any thoughts will be gratefully received.
Inge
you have to register with one of the CRB services... TmG or Capita are two who spring to mind and have any staff crbs done through them... Ofsted still pay but you arrange the checks and references etc. the company send you the forms to fill in and TMG ask you to have one person registered with them to verify ID - think Capita now do them online.. not sure of the others.. Only ones which need to go through Ofsted are the committee and manager/ playleader in charge of day of day care... rest are your decision and your processes for recruitment. finleysmaid
you need to register with one of the umberella bodies we use TMG but capita is another (and i think there is a third) once registered they will give you a ref number to use and they will sort the crb out (there may be a charge depending on for who and what etc!) you can also register to do these online which...i am told....is much quicker Edited May 18, 2011 by finleysmaid
